Did you know that polka dots first appeared in the 1930s? In my opinion, the classic polka dot never goes out of style and there one of my favorite things in the universe to wear (as fries simply can’t be worn). Much like my beloved stripes, stars & a good old panther print, polka dots should be treated like a neutral. Don’t be afraid to mix things up – although I did keep it simple & classy with this look.
Many brands have gone all-out for polka dots this season. A smart move: polka dots seem to elevate every outfit without looking childish (and reminding us of those innocent days). They elevate this simple ladylike dress and give it a flirty twist. I finished this look with a fresh pair of Converse and some great nail art by the fantastic Jessica Scholten. Who’s one of the only women around who can fiddle with Doutzen Kroes’s nails. Want to know more about her story? We did an interview this nail pro extraordinaire a little while ago. Check it out here!
I’m wearing: H&M dress and some Converse All Stars.
