What’s better than a sunny work break? A sunny work break with an iced coffee on the side! These are our favorite spots for a cold caffeine fix in Amsterdam.
Hartje Oost is not your ordinary coffee shop. It’s a cute boutique that serves lunch, bites, sweets and terribly good iced lattes too!
Back to Black
Our favorite hidden gem near Rijksmuseum. Fantastic coffee (and tagline: ‘thank you for being addicted’), lovely cat and, most importantly: brilliant iced lattes, served with either cow, soy, coconut or almond milk if you wish.
Lot Sixty One
What about ice cold espresso + tonic + a touch of orange? Lot Sixty-One is always on the lookout for new coffee trends and this sounds like the ultimate relief for hot summer days!
Baked goods? Check. Snug place? Check. Iced lattes? Triple check! Rum Baba is all you need when you’re up for a break and want to escape the crowds in Oost.
De Koffie salon
This place masters the art of ice coffees: they serve any iced version of any regular coffee in six coffee bars across Amsterdam. Iced coffees fix within reach. That’s how we like it.
Life’s too short to drink bad coffee. So treat yourself to the real deal at Roost. Serves iced lattes and iced americanos. Make sure to come hungry: they serve great homemade food too. Leave happy.
White Label Coffee
How would you like your iced filter coffee: with or without milk? Make sure to drop by White Label Coffee when you’re near the buzzing Jan Evertsenstraat. It will never disappoint.
Jan Evertsenstraat 136
Probably the best hangout in the red light district area. Go here for top notch coffee (the shop is owned by hip-hop record label Top Notch), great tunes and the cool vibe. They sell iced coffees too!
Our all time fave Toki never gets old. Toki’s a local hangout for many living in the Westerpark area. This place serves exquisite coffee and serves all kind of iced coffees this summer. Can’t wait to get our hands on one of those espresso tonics.
And when in iced coffee doubt: go Starbucks (we go there too – quite often, to be honest).
