Last weekend, hundreds of thousands of women (and men!) all around the world hit the streets, raised their voices and send a powerful message of civil rights and equality. These protesters understand that women’s rights are human rights. And that’s just what it is. Regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, immigration status, sexual identity, gender expression, economic status, age or disability.
Over 20 countries saw protests on the first day of Trump’s presidency. From Washington D.C., London, Paris, Rome, Nairobi, Toronto, Lima to Amsterdam: it made us so proud. That’s why we selected the most inspiring posters we could find on social media to remind us that this is just the beginning.

wat heb ik zitten huilen bij het aanzicht van deze mooie foto’s. Ik visualiseer een wereld waarin we elkaar (iedereen. niet alleen de mensen op je lijken) empoweren en angsten doen wegsmelten.
This def makes me feel some type of way. SO wish i was able to go to my citys protest but so proud of these girls <3
