Pink pink pink! I designed my very own leather bag

If you can imagine it, you can make it – and that’s how I ended up with a baby pink leather bag this week. The exact color of that pig emoji, to be exact, and I couldn’t love it more.

Last week I dropped by Factory Petit, a ‘customize your bag’ pop-up event that was hosted by ECCO. And for those of you who don’t know; ECCO has one of the largest tanneries in the world, where they obviously create fabrics for their own products but also for brands like Alexander Wang and for Apple watches, etc.

Essentially, they had set up a candy shop with leather samples that you could make any bag out of. There was mint green, deep blue, yellow, black, taupe… Oh – and the bloggers I interviewed for an ‘inside the Insta’ series were there too. (Always a great accessory, those girls).

Because I’m one of those people that ALWAYS carries a tote bag, this leather bag feels like a grown up update. I felt like a super designer, creating this bag. And I would love to design some more actually (hmmm dreaming of a stationary line, a book, AND bags). But for now: I’m very happy with my piglet style leather tote.

If you could design something right now, what would it be?
