She’s definitely one our Chapter Friday’s favorite bloggers around. As Ann Kim might not ring a bell, you might know her as Andy Heart, a well-known blog on lifestyle, art, design and travel. Ann (33) is a Los Angeles native and started her career as an art director taking on branding challenges and finding design solutions for large brands.
She has a wonderful eye for details and loves minimalist design like no other. And she has a great taste when it comes to hotspots, too. Do you follow her on Instagram yet? If you’re planning a trip to LA soon (or dreaming of it, I certainly do on a daily basis) Make sure to check out Ann’s tips below.
One of my favorite shops in Los Angeles.
671 Cloverdale Avenue
Beautiful and high-quality furniture made in Los Angeles, I love visiting their showroom.
7366 Beverly Blvd
After a long week, I love coming here to disconnect and unwind with massages. When you walk in the interior feels like you’re in Tulum, Mexico.
7611 Beverly Blvd
GRAND CENTRAL MARKET
A historic downtown landmark, this bustling marketplace has a mix vendors that are new and old. I usually stop by eggslut and gandb.coffee, one of the best coffee spots in Los Angeles.
317 S Broadway
French-influenced menu and beautifully renovated interior.
624 South La Brea Ave
Every summer I go here to watch a movie and picnic outdoors at the famous ‘Hollywood Forever Cemetery’.
6000 Santa Monica Blvd
Best of mid-20th-century architecture, see the home and studio of Charles and Ray Eames.
203 Chautaugua Blvd
