Handbags are getting smaller and smaller lately. The micro bag trend only lets you carry your must-have items (money, gum, keys, your phone, ID and some make-up) while you’re going out. No more looking like you’re a tourist in your own town and no more questions whether you should carry your laptop or an extra pair of socks with you: the answer is no.
As you are on our feet all day, it is great not to be hauling around a heavy handbag. It is too tiny for all my musthave Goodies !
Although I (still) don’t have a tiny handbag, I wan’t to change that soon
I just feel like they’re not practical at all but in a night out or so can make a gorgeous outfit.

There was a French (of course) fashion editor some years ago who carried two beautiful, chic, small cross body bags all the time. It was part of her signature style. As someone who needs a decent sized bag, that style might actually allow me to use small bags. Today’s sunglasses and the giant cases they come with take up most of some small bags!
I am totally into the small handbags!
When I was home recently My mom was going to throw out this vintage binoculars bag- it was leather and square.

I’ve changed my mind over the past few years. At first, I thought it was over, super, ultra ridiculous, then it grew on me, and I think it’s amazing, easy to spend the day with and I have trouble to carry big bags now. When I see a tiny bag, I’m always like “awwww so cute” like it’s a dog (lol, weird to say this, I know, but you get the point) ^^

Nay, they look like children accessories and I can’t stand the way many bloggers wear it, with a short strap, with the bag basically on the stomach, awful!

A big yay to small bags… Except in one case: when the volume contrasts too much with that of your body, for instance in winter, the tiny bag looks ridiculous with a very thick coat. The same goes when you (like me) are 9 months pregnant! (Trust me, I have tried!)
I think they look cute but I can’t imagine myself carrying it because they’re just too tiny, where would I put all of the stuff I carry with me everyday?
