Clean, simple and pure: that’s how we’d describe the photographs of the very talented Liselotte Fleur. You can imagine that we’re very happy to have her as our new In-House photographer!
Want to know more about this wonderful lady? We asked her a couple of questions so you can get to know her a little better.

Hi Liselotte! What’s your name, age and city?
Liselotte: my name is Liselotte Fleur, I’m 22 years old and currently living in Rotterdam.

How would you describe your photography style?
Liselotte: My focus is fashion and portrait photography. When I’m behind the camera, I’m always searching for little surprises: unexpected moments can create a special photo. I also get inspired by the unique beauty of a person. I look for the thing that makes them stand out - a little nose, eyes that ar far apart, or big eyebrows - and try to capture this in the photograph. And while fashion is all about the beautiful clothes, make-up and accessories, a portrait is about capturing a person in a natural and more personal way. That’s why I love the combination: it’s the mix that makes it interesting!

How did you get your start in photography?

Liselotte: At 15 I started developing an interest in fashion and had my sister and her friends model for me endlessly. This probably helped, because at the age of 17 I was accepted at the Art Academy in Rotterdam. In my third year I decided to participate in an exchange program in Milan, Italy. In my free time I arranged as many photo shoots as I could: for my graduation I even went off to shoot on beautiful locations in Paris and Milan. The most important thing I learned from this experience? Work with as many cool and creative people as possible and keep your eyes open for new sources of inspiration at all times!

What’s an accomplishment you’re proud of so far?
Liselotte: My work was selected to take part at The Fashion Photography Exhibition during the Malta Fashion Week in May 2014. The pictures were exhibited 3 x 2 meter at a very beautiful square (yes, outside!) in the capital city of Malta.

Biggest dream for the future?
Liselotte: Ideally, I’d like to focus on high-end fashion editorials for magazines and fashion clients all over the globe.
