Last week, me and twenty fashion bloggers travelled to the south of the country, for a big and unique fashion day celebrating the ‘Colour Me Happy’ month at Designer Outlet Roermond. As always, it was great meeting with long term readers and bloggers that have been commenting for years in ‘real life’. Getting to know the faces behind the clicks and comments on my website makes everything I do online feel more substantial in a way. Does that make sense? But enough about me, and more about this special event.
Welcome to my fashion classroom!
To kick off the Colour me happy accessory season at Designer Outlet Roermond, I held a fashion class about Personal style and accessory trends. With this specially selected group, we zoomed in on what the big trends are for the new spring/summer season and how those trends translate in to accessories. We then walked through tips and tricks on how to define your personal style, how to blog about that and a Q&A.
Designer shopping spree
And to put that fresh trend info in to practice straight away, we went designer shopping! All twenty girls got a voucher and went all out. Because it’s an outlet centre, you’ll find previous collections by brands like Mulberry, Gucci, MiuMiu, Dolce & Gabbana and Prada with heavenly and heavy discounts. Some girls got the same mini Mulberry bag I got on my previous visit to Designer Outlet Roermond , someone got that incredible Filippa K bomber in black , and a few girls went home with stunning Furla bags.
All in all, it was a special day on which we celebrated fashion and beautiful high fashion brands. And to make you feel like you were there with us a little, there is a big article on ‘Defining your personal style’ with the same tips up right now on CHAPTER FRIDAY!
