Monochrome Downtown LA stories

Trendy shades come and go – hi baby pink and pastel blue! – but black and white are here to stay. This February’s editorial is totally in tune with simple but feminine monochrome color combo’s. It features the classic white button down, an edgy black biker jacket, that good old LBD and fancy fabrics like silk, leather and wool. Photographed in the bright and lively streets of LA, where colors and cultures all merge together.

About the shoot
For this editorial, me and Anna from NSMBL fles all the way to LA to collaborate with talented photographers there, like Josh Madson. This photographer / lighting director travels between LA, New York and Tokio. Having shot for titles as Vogue Girl, ELLE, Instyle and Esquire, and worked for big brands like Sony, Universal and Casio, it was an absolute pleasure and honor to collaborate on this Downtown LA story. His style is colorful with a focus on unique beauty and his esthetic signature shows in every shoot, from high fashion productions to street style photos.
