Workspace inspiration
Work it! The thing with me is that my surroundings directly influence my mood. When my house is cluttered I feel less concentrated, don’t get as much done and might get annoyed because everything is misplaced. When I’m surrounded by pretty, quirky and carefully selected items that have a personal significance, or that I’ve thoughtfully picked out, I feel inspired and get more done.
Right now I’m in doubt as to whether I’ll continue running This chick’s got style from my home office or rent an office space, perhaps with other creatives. Either way, I’m all for tweaking my  office style with that seemingly unattainable interior goal in mind: the perfect workspace. Ideally it would include pretty brown paper notebooks, vintage metal lockers, a rustic wooden desk, some soft white pillows, stacks of color coordinated books, a playful kilim rug and little green plants. Elegant, modern, eclectic, like the picture perfect places in this post.
What would your ideal workspace look like, and have you created a little corner or home office to blog from?
