A new hotspot in Amsterdam you don’t want to miss
CHAPTER FRIDAY

There are probably a hand full hotels in Amsterdam you’d want to spend a staycation. I name an INK Hotel, Dwars or The Exchange. We are lucky to have a lot of cool stuff just around the corner, but the one thing this city is definitely lacking is a buzzing hotel culture.

In big cosmopolitan cities like Paris and New York hotels are often the perfect hangout for a date, a business meeting or a girls night out. Luckily, there are a few new cool, high-end hotels lined up to open this year.

I tried and tested the first one to open her doors - the amazing Hoxton hotel! I went in on Thursday night and didn’t leave until Sunday afternoon (true story) and got instantly hooked on the fresh coffee in the morning and espresso Martini during midnight snacks.

Three reasons why The Hoxton may be the perfect hangout when you pay Amsterdam a visit:
1. Nothing beats the adventurous and international feeling of sleeping in a hotel (on a canal!)
2. Breakfast meeting, sleep-over, lunch break: their avocado toast is fantastic
3. The super friendly staff (a lot of them come from The Hoxton in the UK)

I’m now thinking of possible ways the staff can adopt me. How long will it take for the housekeeping to discover me when I lock myself up in the bathroom..?

Have you ever visited Amsterdam? Where did you spent the night?

Let's talk
