Calling all adventurers! What’s your big daydream?

“What if you wake up some day, and you’re 65, or 75, and you never got your memoir or novel written; or you didn’t go swimming in warm pools and oceans all those years because your thighs were jiggly and you had a nice big comfortable tummy; or you were just so strung out on perfectionism and people-pleasing that you forgot to have a big juicy creative life, of imagination and radical silliness and staring off into space like when you were a kid? It’s going to break your heart. Don’t let this happen.” – Anne Lamott.

Talk about a spot-on quote. (And my new iPhone screensaver). What I take away from it most, is that every morning we get to hit the ‘reset’ button and start fresh.

So when I started meeting up with Lipton Ice Tea some weeks ago, for a project-based that pinpoints that exact philosophy, I was thrilled. At first because – as long time readers will know – my signature drink is Lipton Ice tea green. (A handful of chilled cans is often the only thing in my fridge. Maybe some hot sauce and cheese, if I’m lucky. Without cheese, there would just be darkness and chaos). Second, because I never say no to adventure.

Calling the masterminds. The adventurers. The spontaneous.
Host a park movie night with hammocks. Take your grandparents on a road trip. Share the largest donut in the world with friends (life goals!). Sing on stage at the concert of your most beloved band… Sometimes it’s only these spontaneous little things that light up an otherwise ordinary day.

Let the good vibes begin!
If you could do anything, and I mean anything, to make life a little brighter, what would that be? What are the ingredients of your biggest daydream? Because one of you gets to go out and live it this summer!

To kick-start your brainstorm session, take a look at this childhood dream-come-true video by my newly acquired amigo, Frank. A gem of a guy and a crazy creative who’s made award-winning work for brands like Converse and Jamie Oliver.

Next up: my very own video. And maybe yours! Adventure awaits.

Let's talk

My adventure would be something similar to what Julia Robert’s character in Eat, Pray, Love does in the film. Iwould love to visit at least one country of each of the five continents and get to discover the world and also myself.

    great
