A secret, secluded place where you can pull back with a glass of wine, a good book and a pile of your favourite magazines: how awesome does that sound? A small balcony is an excellent place to create such a place. But how do you transform your desolate looking outside space into your own magical mini garden?
I can’t wait to start with my own balcony make-over like I previously did with my bedroom and workroom. This time, I set myself a challenge: transform my not-so-very-exciting little balcony into a place to spend long summer evenings, while spending no more than 150 euro.
It might sound like mission impossible, but you don’t need a lot to create an extra room outside, where you can relax and soak in the sun. A little bit of love, some colourful cushions, green plants and a small table are enough to create your own secluded dream.
After thinking up this new challenge, I immediately started searching the web and scrolling through the endless pretty garden pictures on Pinterest to search for small garden inspiration. I find it really helps to look for inspiring images, to help you keep your focus on the end result: with my bedroom and workroom make-over it really helped getting the result I had pictured in my head. To be continued…
The only thing left to do now is hoping for a long, happy and very sunny summer!
