New Year’s Eve party look #4: metallic dress

First of all, let me say that I wish each and every one of you an incredible, happy day and night spent with the people you love. Let’s vow to make this our most special year yet. So, now that we’ve got that out of the way… on to what we’ll be wearing tonight! Hinting to the nineties, this last party look in the New Year’s Eve countdown revolves around a more structured metallic dress that changes color from blue to green.

Party look #4: metallic dress
Metallic can go both ways, from rather tacky to superfly and on trend. Key is to opt for a heavier fabric that feels modern, like this scuba material, and to choose an unexpected fit. The shape of the dress is rather traditional and the blue and green metallic shine adds the right amount of drama to make a sparkly statement. A playful piece like this works with all kinds of accessories and I’ve kept mine simple and classic in silver and deep blue, so the focus remains on the dress.

What I wore is a dress by ASOS, clutch by Saint Laurent and platforms by Zara.
