Yay! Weekend is here! Time to get your agenda sorted and enjoy some well deserved time off. We already picked out some favorite go-to’s in Amsterdam for this Friday, Saturday and upcoming Sunday so you can keep your hands free.

1. Want an excuse to cosy up?
What 30th Amsterdam Imagine Film Festival
Date 9th until the 18th of April

If you’re finding it difficult to find something to do this weekend, why not take a look at what the 30th Amsterdam Imagine film festival has to offer. With a variety of genre’s ranging from fantasy, thriller, cult and horror to anime and romance,
new and old films, you might well spot a film that you’d love to see. Another plus point that will definitely have you considering this event is that the tickets are also relatively cheap, you’re also guaranteed a film that none of your friends will have seen.

2. Name one reason not to go
What Beer and Burger Battle, Amsterdam
Date Saturday 12th of April

This event is the perfect event for anyone who digs burgers and beer, it’s a night where you can eat to your hearts content. Included in your ticket you’ll get the chance to taste test 4 different burger, 4 glasses of beer and then judge them. This all night event featuring expertly programmed music will offer you the chance to drink, eat and dance the night away (full bellied) in the spirit of Amsterdam.

3. Foxy ladies get together
What Foxes in concert at Bitterzoet, Amsterdam
Date Sunday 13th of April

Upcoming British songstress Foxes is in town. The young and energetic songs will make you dance and not only the tracks are fresh and adorable, so is Foxes aka Louisa Allen herself. Her long awaited debut album will come out in May, so as an early adapter you can now watch her sing live for only twelve (!) euro’s.
